Within the scope of the Konak Climate Adaptation Action Plan, a special climate adaptation workshop for children was held at the 94th Izmir International Fair, one of the symbols of Izmir. The workshop aimed to enable children to learn about the concepts of climate change and climate adaptation through age-appropriate, participatory, and entertaining methods.

During the workshop, the effects of climate change on daily life were discussed with the children. The meaning of climate adaptation, its importance, and the roles individuals can play in this process were detailed through interactive activities. Through games, creative exercises, and group work, children were encouraged to gain awareness of the climate crisis and to develop solution-oriented thinking skills.
