Climate change is a multifaceted crisis that affects urban life not only environmentally, but also socially, economically, and institutionally. For local governments and civil society organizations, adapting to this crisis is no longer a choice—it is a necessity.
Prepared within the scope of the Clocalization: Localizing Climate Change Adaptation Project, carried out in partnership with Konak Municipality and the Social Climate Association and financially supported by the European Union and the Republic of Türkiye, this guide aims to provide local actors with the knowledge, methods, and strategies needed for a systematic adaptation process.

• Key roles that local governments and NGOs can play
• Fundamental approaches for integrating disaster risk reduction into adaptation strategies
• Indicators developed through participatory processes, surveys, and field-based insights
