As we hold the closing meeting of our “Localization for Climate Change Adaptation – #CLocalization” project—implemented in partnership with Konak Municipality and the Social Climate Association, and funded by the European Union and the Republic of Türkiye under the Climate Change Adaptation Grant Program coordinated by the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change—let us look back with pride at what we have achieved together.

In this journey that began in Konak, we developed local solutions for climate change adaptation with the participation of women, youth, children, and the private sector. We organized various workshops.

Through our train-the-trainer sessions, we reached 18 young volunteers, who then disseminated our training to 80 individuals locally.

🇪🇸🇵🇹 We drew inspiration from best practices in Spain and Portugal.

We created neighborhood-based action plans specifically for the local context of Konak.

🎙️ Through our videocast series, we brought together our experiences with institutions and individuals working in this field.
