Trainer training, one of the important building blocks of our CLOCALIZATION project, was successfully completed. We came together with our trainers who will carry the inclusive and participatory structure of the project and took the first step towards strengthening local capacity in the climate change adaptation process.

Within the scope of this training, our participants gained not only theoretical knowledge on climate science and local adaptation policies, but also adult education, facilitation techniques and effective communication skills with different stakeholder groups.

Having completed the training, our trainers will now work directly with communities, private sector and local governments within the Clocalization project. The aim is to show that adaptation to climate change in Konak district is not only a technical planning process, but also a transformation process that involves all segments of society.

Our trainers will conduct various workshops and training programs to contribute to the adoption of localized approaches, dissemination of sustainability vision and development of climate-friendly policies.
